Older Puppy Course and Adult dog Course

Open to puppies over 18 weeks of age (on first night)

A seven week evening Course is offered at New Bradwell.  The Course covers walking on a loose lead, come back when called, sit, down, stand, food manners, grooming and handling, jumping up, wait and various other aspects of responsible dog ownership.

It is likely that some early socialisation has been missed and therefore it is essential that we work hard together to remedy the problems that may be occurring. This Course will be very restricted on numbers to that additional time can be allocated to the attendees particular problems.

A morning Course can be arranged at Little Horwood but only when we have sufficient number of people interested in attending.

Having completed the Older Puppy Course you can then enrol for further training, perhaps working towards the KC GCDS or APDT Good Companions Award or our own Mini Tests. There are also specialised classes from time to time on Rally, Clicker Training or Fun and Games.

The description of this Course is exactly the same as the Older Puppy Course and, on occasions, subject to numbers, the two will run together.

However, if your adult dog has attended classes and has reached a stage beyond that described above, please contact me so that we can arrange for you to visit the Fun Way Training Centre for an assessment. We can then discuss which class would be most appropriate.

A well-trained dog knows his place within the family, knows he’s safe and loved, is a pleasure to own and doesn’t present a problem to others.
